“We had been thinking about remodeling our small, outdated, poorly designed
kitchen for a long time. It always seemed like too big a challenge , and we
didn’t know where to start. We’ve known Ray Fitzgerald and his wife for several
years. We knew Ray would be our contractor choice.
Ray helped me through the
planning, often almost literally holding my hand as we worked through the myriad
of details. He made suggestions of where I should look for various products and
helped me sort through the pros and cons of the available items.
We
completely changed the footprint of our kitchen. We decided to make it an eat-in
kitchen rather than the small kitchen and small dining area we had. We decided
to move the sink, the stove and refrigerator, and add a dishwasher. Moving the
sink to the outside wall, overlooking our deck, required replacing the big,
drafty kitchen window to make room for cabinets. One thing led to another.
We decided to replace all the windows and the exterior doors to make our
house more energy efficient. We selected Pella windows and CrafTec installed
them.
We selected cherry cabinets with a natural finish, a white quartz
countertop with small flecks of color, ceramic subway-style backsplash, and a
high-quality, padded vinyl floor which looks like patio stones. (But it’s easy
on the feet and the back!)
All the CrafTec people we worked with were great!
They cleaned up after themselves every day, and made it easy as possible for us
to live in our house/their construction site!
We are very pleased with the
results. We could not have done it without Ray and his crew. Thanks, CrafTec!”
